Dr Melanie Nana has let us know that she’s organising a one-day obstetric medicine course at the Vale Resort on Monday 30th September 2024. Obstetric medicine is always a highly popular topic at acute medicine conferences so it’s great to have an opportunity to learn about it in Wales!

We now have further details on the headache conference that Dr Mohamed Hasan is organising at the Marriott Hotel in Cardiff on Friday 18th October 2024.
The fee will be £50 (this sounds like excellent value!) and registration is available via this link.

Team Wales was a bit smaller than usual at the Society of Acute Medicine meeting in Gateshead last week but we still had an excellent time! Over 450 people attended making it the largest SAM spring meeting to date! We’re already looking forward to the next SAM conference in Harrogate on the 10th and 11th October 2019.
