Symposium 2019 final programme released
We’re pleased to confirm the final programme for our annual symposium on 20th June 2019 is now available. If you haven’t yet registered, there’s still space to join us in the Gower for the day!
All of the money raised from the symposium goes toward supporting acute medicine training in Wales. Full details of the day are available on the symposium page and you can register online at Eventbrite. We hope to see you there!
Headache conference
Mohamed Hassan (an acute physician from Prince Charles, Merthyr) is organising a conference on headaches in Cardiff on Friday 18th October. Headaches are his special interest and regardless of whether they might interest you personally or not, they’re certainly a common and important problem that we see a lot of in acute medicine!
We’ll provide an update when we get further details of the day.

WAPS Symposium 2019
We’re pleased to announce that our 2019 annual symposium will take place on Thursday 20th June at the King Arthur Hotel, Renyoldston, Gower.

Metabolic Disease study day
If you’re interested in some slightly different CPD to usual you might want to consider the inherited metabolic disease study day in Cardiff next March. The morning programme is paediatric but the afternoon looks like it will have relevance to acute medicine. See this PDF for further details.
