Our next Welsh takeAIM event has just been announced! We’ll be holding it on Wednesday 3rd April at 1800 in the Cochrane Building at the University Hospital of Wales. It’s open to anybody who might be interested in a career in acute medicine – medical students, Foundation / CMT / ACCS trainees, and other healthcare professions.
The programme has been designed by Jan Awad, one of our current Welsh acute medicine trainees. It will include a talk from him about what a career in acute medicine is like, followed by some clinical scenario workshops and finishing with some examples of how we use medical imaging in the acute medical unit. After all of that has worked up your appetite we’ll even provide free pizza to finish the evening off 🍕! If there’s anything else you want to know about AIM there will be plenty of us around during the whole event to discuss things further.
takeAIM Cardiff is completely free to attend – you simply need to register over at the takeAIM website. See you there!
