The Welsh Acute Physicians’ Society (WAPS) is committed to protecting your personal data and respects your privacy. This privacy policy applies when you are a member of the society, attend a WAPS event as a delegate or subscribe to our mailing list.
The data we collect includes identity data (first name, surname), contact data (email address), transaction data (payments made to WAPS) and details of where you work. For Acute Medicine Trainees in Wales, we also collect contact telephone numbers. We collect this data by you corresponding with us by email or online forms.
We will use your personal data to correspond with members and disseminate information regarding events to previous delegates or those subscribed to our mailing list.
WAPS has no commercial affiliations and will not share your personal data with any third party.
At any time you can ask us to stop corresponding with you by letting us know via email or using our ‘Contact’ form on our website. If we change the way in which we use your personal data, we will notify you via email first.
